The Sculk Hosting plugin manager lets you find, install, and update plugins and mods without ever touching a file. Search by name, click install, and the panel handles the download and placement automatically. When updates are released, you can apply them the same way — keeping your server current with zero manual effort.

What the plugin manager does

  • Searches a curated library of plugins and mods from the panel interface
  • Downloads and installs files directly to the correct server directory with one click
  • Flags installed plugins that have updates available and lets you apply them instantly
  • Keeps your server current without requiring you to visit external download sites or use the file manager

Accessing the plugin manager

1

Log in to the panel

Go to panel.sculkhosting.com and sign in with your Sculk Hosting account credentials.
2

Select your server

Click on the server you want to manage.
3

Open the Plugins or Mods tab

In the server sidebar, click Plugins or Mods, depending on your server type. The plugin manager search interface loads.

Installing a plugin

1

Navigate to the plugin manager

Open the Plugins or Mods tab in your server’s sidebar as described above.
2

Search for the plugin

Type the plugin or mod name into the search bar. Results appear as you type.
3

Click Install

Find the plugin you want in the results and click Install. The panel downloads and places the file automatically.
4

Restart your server

Most plugins only load on startup. Restart your server from the Console tab for the plugin to take effect.

Updating installed plugins

When a newer version of an installed plugin is available, an Update button appears next to it in the plugin manager. Click Update to download and replace the file. Restart your server afterwards to load the new version.
Only plugins listed in the panel’s plugin library appear in search results. If you need to install a plugin or mod that isn’t listed, download the JAR file from its official source and upload it manually using the file manager.
Always test new plugins on a development or staging server, or take a backup before installing on your live server. Some plugins conflict with others or alter world data in ways that are difficult to reverse. Go to the Backups tab and create a snapshot before installing anything unfamiliar.
