If you need to cancel your Sculk Hosting service or switch to a different plan, this page explains the steps to take, what to expect after cancellation, and how the refund policy works. Taking the right steps ensures you are not charged for a renewal you did not intend to pay for and that you have time to save your server data before it is removed.

How to cancel a service

You can cancel your service in two ways: through the client area or by contacting support directly.

Cancel through the client area

1

Log in to the client area

Go to my.sculkhosting.com and sign in to your account.
2

Go to Services

In the navigation menu, click Services to see all active services on your account.
3

Select the service

Click the service you want to cancel to open its management page.
4

Request cancellation

Locate the Request Cancellation option and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm. Choose whether you want immediate cancellation or cancellation at the end of the current billing period.

Cancel by email

If you cannot access the client area, email support@sculkhosting.com with your account email address, the service you want to cancel, and your preferred cancellation date.

Cancellation timing

You are responsible for submitting your cancellation request before your next renewal date. If the renewal invoice is already paid before your cancellation is processed, the payment covers the new billing period and is subject to the refund policy below.
Log in to my.sculkhosting.com to check your next renewal date before you intend to cancel.

What happens after cancellation

Once your service reaches its expiry date, it may be suspended, deleted, or reallocated without further notice. Sculk Hosting does not guarantee data retention after a service expires.
Download your world files and backups before canceling. Once a service is terminated, your data may be permanently wiped and cannot be recovered. Do not wait until the last moment — copy everything you need as soon as you decide to cancel.

Refund policy

Services are generally non-refundable once activated. If you believe your situation warrants an exception, you can submit a refund request to support@sculkhosting.com. Requests are reviewed case-by-case at Sculk Hosting’s discretion.

Items that are not refundable

The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
  • Dedicated IP addresses
  • Setup fees
  • Add-ons and extras
  • Domain registrations or transfers
  • Services that were terminated due to an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) violation

Important: canceling a payment subscription does not cancel your service

Canceling your PayPal subscription, bank card autopay, or any other third-party payment method does not cancel your service with Sculk Hosting. Your account remains active and will accrue an outstanding balance.Always cancel through my.sculkhosting.com or by emailing support@sculkhosting.com.

Upgrading or downgrading your plan

To move to a different plan, contact support@sculkhosting.com. The support team will help you upgrade or downgrade your service and adjust your billing accordingly.
